近藤 裕 Kondou Yuu
The second of Toriyama's editors, he took over the position following the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai, around the time of Raditz's arrival on Earth, but left shortly after Cell reached his perfect form. He was undoubtedly involved with the series during its most popular times. He is said to be Toriyama's inspiration for the villainous Freeza.

鳥山 明 Toriyama Akira
The author of the manga series and the man behind, well, everything else. After the success of his gag manga Dr. Slump, Toriyama moved on to create DragonBall which became massively popular, far beyond even his expectations. As a kung-fu fan and a nature loving person, he draws much of his inspiration from his own hobbies and interests, although he's never to old for a good 'ol poop joke.
