Ah yes, the movies! The world of DragonBall simply would not be complete without these little one-hour gems of storytelling magnificence! Well, okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch... Although most of the movies have storylines more shallow and predictable than a He-Man cartoon, we still generally find the movies to be simply irresistible! They serve as a fun little detour from the manga and TV series' storyline, twisting around many of the elements we've become so familiar with and giving exciting new angles on the traditional characters and battles.
We're also pleasantly treated with top-notch animation, precise choreography of every aspect of the fighting, and a level of directing leagues beyond that in the TV series! Sure, we know that Goku and friends will save the day, and of course whatever happens will have no long-term impact on the characters, but hey, at least we're getting a solid hour of DragonBall fun!
