As promised, some more new scans are available in the "Picture Archive"! This time around we have the DragonBall Super Exciting Guide - Character Volume. Besides the cover, I've included scans of both sides of the insert poster, along with a combined poster image with the first Super Exciting Guide poster. On side note, I have re-scaned both DragonBall GT Perfect File volumes at a higher quality. So, if you've already grabbed those at some point, you might want to replace them with these. Be sure to check back sometime soon as I continue to torture my new scanner! Links: Picture Archive |

In the April issue of V-Jump we caught wind of some news about an upcoming manga adaptation of the DragonBall Jump Super Anime Tour Special, " Heya! Son Goku and Friends Return!!" Unfortunately, the adaptation is not drawn by Toriyama himself, but rather mangaka Ooishi Naho (オオイシナホ). The manga was released in two halves or parts, and subsequently in two separate volumes of V-Jump; the May (#5; March 21) and June (#6; April 21) issues. Now that both are finally out, I've scanned the covers for each, which can be found in the " Picture Archive". We do plan on doing something more with this adaptation, but you'll have to wait on that for now. Meanwhile, be sure to check back soon for some more scans! In an unrelated note, I wanted to give fair warning that there may not be a DragonBall Kai episode review this week due to, well basically life. Apparently we do have those... Hopefully we'll get back on schedule next week, but I make no guarantees. Happy Golden Week to Everyone!!Links: Picture Archive |

Come and get it while it's hot! Kanzentai's review of DragonBall Kai Episode 004 is now available for your viewing pleasure. We're a little late this week, but I won't bore you with the details... On with the review! When we last saw our heroes, Goku had passed away and two stronger Saiya-jin set off towards Earth. After seeing Gohan's hidden potential against Raditz, Piccolo decides to train him for the upcoming battle. Meanwhile, Kami-sama has taken Goku to see Enma Daio to get permission to train with Kaio, one of the strongest gods in the universe, but to do so he must travel along Snake Road which is over a million kilometers. Will Goku make it to Kaio's place safely and will Gohan survive Piccolo's survival training? Find out, in the next exciting episode of DragonBall Kai! This brings Kai up to DragonBall Z episode 007. So, in proper Kanzentai fashion, we've added DragonBall Z episodes 006 and 007 to the "Episode Guide". Be sure to check 'em out! Come and get it while it's hot! Kanzentai's review of DragonBall Kai Episode 003 is now available for your viewing pleasure. Goku and Piccolo finish their battle with Raditz, with a little help from a very angry Gohan. However, in order to defeat Raditz, Goku must sacrifice himself to save the planet he has learned to call home. But with two Saiya-jin even stronger than Raditz heading towards Earth, what are our heroes to do? Find out, in the next exciting episode of DragonBall Kai! Don't forget to check out the "Picture Archive" for some high quality scans of the recently released DragonBall Jump Super Anime Tour Special DVD. I've also thrown up some screen shots, which I know most people have already seen, but since they're from the DVD they're absent of that annoying "40th Weekly Jump" anniversary logo from when the special was streamed online. Come and get it while it's hot! Kanzentai's review/analysis/break-down/massively detailed look at DragonBall Kai Episode 002 is now available for your viewing pleasure. This week we're trying something a little different, well as far as the layout of the episode page is concerned. Not only are we incorporating some of your input, but for the first time, we're introducing collapsible sub-sections for each comparison to help conserve space on the page. It's very versatile and should satisfy everyone's needs. Not sure what I'm talking about? Well, check it out for yourself! As promised, a full review of the recently released DVD for the DragonBall Jump Super Anime Tour Special, " Heya! Son Goku and Friends Return!!", has been posted in the " DVD Guide". In addition, I've also taken the time to update the specials main page in the " Miscellaneous DB Guide" with some new information, updated screen shots (no more 40th Weekly Jump logo), and the full opening and ending credits. If you haven't done so already, be sure to check out the new ending animation set to the theme " Orange Hero" by jealkb. Be sure to stay tuned for our review of DragonBall Kai Episode 002, which should be online shortly (assuming "someone" sends me something). Don't forget that episode 003, "A Battle with Their Lives on the Line! Goku and Piccolo's Wild Suicide Attack", will be airing in nearly 24 hours. For those of you just joining us and would like to watch the episode live, check out our feature on "Watching DragonBall Kai Live!" With less than 24 hours until the next episode of DragonBall Kai airs, we finally have our page for the first episode complete. Unfortunately, it'll probably take you the next 24 hours just to get through everything! I'm hoping that in the future this won't take us quite so long to get done, seeing as we won't have to make new theme pages, create a new episode page layout, we know what to expect from Kai, and Herms won't be catching a red-eye flight in the middle of the week back to Japan. So, without further ado, on behalf of the entire Kanzentai staff, I present DragonBall Kai Episode 001... The Curtain Opens on the Battle! Son Goku Returns Don't forget to check out all of the new additions to the "Theme Guide"! Links: DragonBall Kai Episode 001, "Dragon Soul", "Yeah! Break! Care! Break!", "Orange Hero" |
