Just a couple little bits of news before I head off to bed. After being released this last week, the fourth set of "DragonBall The Movies" individual discs (DBZ Movies 07 & 08) have deputed atop the "Japanese Animation DVD Rankings" on the Oricon charts. Both have sold about 7,000 copies in only one week! If you're interested, you can still pick-up either of these DVDs at Amazon Japan, or pre-order any of the upcoming individual disc releases.


Todd Ciolek, of Anime New Network, has posted a review of DragonBall DS in "The X Button" column. Apparently only people that are "mature enough to repel the psychological damage of seeing underwear gags and a half-second glimpse of Goku naked" can play the game. Good enough for me! He also mentions some of Akira Toriyama's other works, so I think it's worth while to give it a read. In other gaming news, be sure to check out Daizenshuu EX for a look at IGN's scathing Infinite World review. It got a whopping overall score of 3.5 out of 10!

Finally, it appears that the Dragon Ball Z x One Piece figures from Banpresto have started to be shipped. I got my shipping confirmation e-mail this morning... Yatta! So, if you pre-ordered any of the figures, be on the lookout. For anyone that didn't pre-order, the figures are still available on Play-Asia. I would highly suggest picking these up, especially if you're a fan of both series.

Kanzentai's YouTube Spotlight #005 is now available for your viewing pleasure! This week we're showcasing another video of commercials. Unlike the "Dragon Box Z Vol. 1" and "Dragon Box GT" releases, which came with some older commercials from those sereis as bonus material, the DragonBall "Dragon Box" did not. So, we went searching and found a few DragonBall commercials to share. By the way, if anyone finds that Muscle Tower, I call dibs.

The fourth set of "DragonBall The Movies" individual discs (DBZ Movies 07 & 08) were released yesterday. As usual, Toei has already posted the next set of covers (DBZ Movies 09 & 10). Big thanks to Li'l Lemmy for keeping us up-to-date on the new covers. These next two films, "The Galaxy at the Brink!! The Super Incredible Guy (DBZ Movie 09)" and "The Dangerous Duo! Super-Warriors Can't Rest (DBZ Movie 10)", are set to be released on December 12, 2008. I'll hold back my thoughts and opinions on these covers for now... though I'm sure you can guess what they are. Also, don't forget that you can still order any of the previously released discs or any of these discs from Amazon Japan.

Kanzentai's YouTube Spotlight #004 is now available for your viewing pleasure! This week we're showcasing a video of two Japanese Burst Limit commercials that will hopefully make you laugh and squeel with fanboy, or fangirl, glee. I absolutely love these commercials! The two kids they got to play Nappa and Freeza are priceless. The voices, as they appear in order, are... First commercial: Goku, Nappa, & Vegeta. Second commercial : Goku, Freeza, & Piccolo.

Also, in light of what happened two weeks ago with Spotlight #002, I'll now be hosting all the spotlights on the site. This way, even if a video is deleted from YouTube, you can still enjoy it! A huge thanks to SSj_Rambo for saving my butt and finding a full-length video replacement of Spotlight #002. Enjoy!

Holy hell, more content?! Today we have 5 new episodes (4 chapters & some Husky filler) for your enjoyment! General White has been defeated and Muscle Tower has come an end. Goku heads off to West City in search of Bulma, but the Red Ribbon Army has sent Husky to steal back Goku's dragonballs.

We'll close out with some news sent in by Sebastian. The 22nd volume of the TV Animation Comics, and second volume of the "Cell Game arc", was released yesterday (Nov. 4). The first volume was released a month ago (Oct. 3), but I never got around to posting its release. As with all of the previous comic releases, you can check them out in our Manga Guide.

Our third YouTube Spotlight is available for your viewing pleasure! In light of this being Halloween weekend, I decided to scratch my original video idea and instead go with something more in the spirit of the holiday. So this week we have the new TeamFourStar Halloween parody, since I just couldn't pass up the chance to showcase some of their work. Well, I hope everyone had a great Halloween '08 and no one overdosed on too much sugar!
